Happy Tails

Introduction

Lab Rescue's volunteers never tire of hearing the wonderful success stories that our adopters share with us. Hearning them is one of the many rewards of volunteering with Lab Rescue. In this section of our website, we share some of the stories and photos we've received from our adopting families. If you have adopted a dog through Lab Rescue and would like to submit your Happy Tail, please see the directions below.

Here are the links to our Happy Tails. You may choose to view an individual dog by clicking on its link below. Each dog's page has navigation links that allow you to move to the next dog or the previous dog as if you're flipping through a scrapbook or photo album. (That feature places the dogs in the order they were posted rather than in alphabetical order as they are below.) If a dog has been renamed, its Lab Rescue name is listed after its new name. The month and year of adoption appear in parentheses.

How to Contribute to Happy Tails

If you adopted a dog through Lab Rescue and would like to share your story with us, please follow these submission guidelines.

For each submission, please include the following information:

  • The dog's Lab Rescue name and, if it has been changed, the dog's current name
  • The month and year you adopted your Lab Rescue dog
  • Your name(s)
  • Your city and state of residence
  • Your preference for the way that your name will appear online or in our newsletter:
    • Use full first and last names
    • Use first name and last initial
    • Use first name only
    • Use first and last initials
  • The story or information you'd like to share with us
  • A phone number and/or e-mail address where you can be reached for questions
  • One to three photos (see detailed photo guidelines below)

You may send photos of your dog or of your dog with family members. All photos should be clear, sharp, and bright. Closeups are best. If you submit your photos by e-mail, they should be in JPG format. The filename should include the dog's name, your last name, and the proper file extension. (An example of an appropriate filename is lucy_pasternak1.jpg.)

Happy Tails may be submitted via e-mail. Please include the text information in the body of the e-mail and attach your photos. Send them to LabRescueofGR@yahoo.com. If you have questions about submitting a Happy Ending, please e-mail the LabRescueofGR@yahoo.com.
