I adopted Brooke (now Bailey) in August of 2006, at that time she was undergoing heartworm treatment. It was touch and go for a while as she had a pretty rough time through the treatment, but I knew she was a special dog! I have no idea how someone could give up such a well behaved dog who is the ultimate people pleaser. She loves to play outside and is just as happy asleep on her doggie bed while I am at work.
She has been a special addition to my life. Thanks to Lab Rescue for all you do in helping special dogs find loving homes.
