Bella
Bella, a yellow girl, was given up at 11 months of age by her original owner. She was adopted in April of 2006 by James and Maureen Patterson of Lovingston, Virginia. They sent us this update.

Well this was our first rescue. We had no idea what we were getting into. In the end everything turned out wonderful. Our guess was correct that Bella was a great animal in need of a home that understands Labs. She still needs some encouragement about rough play and jumping but she is almost there. (Heck she is only a year and five months) As you can see from the pictures she is a full on water dog as is her brother. They are perfect together and have really come to depend on each other. Thanks for letting us take Bella into our lives. We will be back.
