We adopted Bailey/McKenzie from Lab Rescue in March 2006 when she was 10 months old. McKenzie has been such a joy to us and is such a wonderful addition to our family. From the first night home, McKenzie has happily slept at the foot of our bed (feet up and extended, see photo) and greets us every morning with tail wags and kisses! McKenzie is thrilled to have an older two legged brother (22) who lives nearby and loves to throw her tennis balls and frisbees. She loves playing this game over and over and over.....
McKenzie goes to Doggie Day Care three days a week. She loves her new doggie friends and the camp counselors! Some of their daycare activities include: stone doggy massages, theme parties (Hawaiian/tiki- see photo), movies (Otis and Milo is a favorite), field trips to James river and Petsmart, nature walks, kong contests and agility training! Needless to say, McKenzie comes home happy and pooped! Here are a few pictures with her new friends.
We are so thankful to Lab Rescue for bringing McKenzie into our lives. Their commitment to saving Labs has been a blessing to our family. McKenzie is just perfect and we absolutely adore her!!! Thanks, Lab Rescue!
